Alpine break
Alpine break
Sometimes it doesn’t take big words, just the right perspective. Directly from our house, the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena is at your feet: mountains that glow in the morning light, forests that glow golden in autumn, and paths that unfold their own magic at every season. Whether you want to be active in nature or enjoy the panorama in style – with us you’ll find both without any detours. True relaxation begins exactly where nature awaits: right outside our door.
Your personal seat.
The most beautiful place in the house is located in the open air. Our panorama terrace shows the mountains of the Tyrol Zugspitz Arena at every time of day from their most fascinating side: from the first coffee in the morning through the bright midday light to the warm evening glow of the peaks. You can enjoy this spectacle at any time of the year: on sunny days outside in the fresh mountain air and in cooler hours well protected in our conservatory.
A region full of opportunities.
From Lermoos, you have the entire diversity of the region at your fingertips. Whether you want to explore the familiar scenery of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena or embark on discovery trips to nearby areas: here we provide you with daily inspirations for unforgettable vacation days.
Right outside the front door
The Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is our immediate home. With Lermoos, Ehrwald and Biberwier, three places are within easy reach that offer their own highlights at any time of the year. Thanks to your guest card, you can use the bus throughout the entire region completely free of charge, while you can receive your ski tickets and the Z-Ticket directly at our house with complete ease.
Lermoos
The Grubigstein is our home mountain: in summer for hiking and biking, in winter for skiing, always with a clear view of the Zugspitze.
Ehrwald
Directly at the foot of Zugspitze, Ehrwalder Alm, Seebensee and Drachensee attract visitors, as does the forest roller coaster park and bike park at Wetterstein.
Biberwier
The Mittersee, Blindsee and the Loisach springs are among the most beautiful places in the region, along with a summer toboggan run, mountain carts and a climbing forest for the whole family.
Heiterwang
At Heiterwangersee you can swim, paddle and go boating; in the winter, cross-country trails and winter hiking trails invite you to get moving.
Berwang
The region's highest-altitude village is a classic Tyrolean mountain village with the Berwang-Bichlbach ski resort right on the doorstep.
Bichlbach
The natural lake, the climbing forest and the Flying Fox make Bichlbach a family-friendly destination; in winter, direct access to the Berwang ski resort is available.
Namlos
In the quiet Namloser Valley, the village of Fallerschein and a small suspension bridge await.
A trip to Reutte
Just a short drive away, Reutte awaits with some of the region’s most spectacular attractions: from the highline179, stretching 114 meters above the valley, to the Ehrenberg Castle World with its medieval history. For stays of seven nights or more, we offer you a ticket for the highline179.
highline179
The longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world spans 114 meters high over the valley. From 7 nights, we’ll give you the tickets.
Burgenwelt Ehrenberg
Four historical sites combine the Middle Ages with nature, with a knightly rally and treasure hunt especially appealing to families.
LUMAGICA
From November to February, light, sound and interactive elements transform the Ehrenberg castle ruin into a magical winter evening.
A detour to the Gurgltal
Anyone who likes to get on their pedals will find one of the most beautiful cycling routes in the Alps in the Gurgltal around Imst: the historic Via Claudia Augusta, a 2,000-year-old Roman road. It is also wonderful to experience on foot. Our e-bikes and hardtail mountain bikes can be rented directly from us.
Via Claudia Augsta
The 2,000-year-old Roman road leads you on foot or by bike from the Zugspitz Arena in Tyrol through the Fernpass to the Gurgltal valley.
Fernsteinsee
A turquoise mountain lake and a mining experience that can be ideally combined with the Via Claudia.
Boundless after Garmisch
Just a few kilometers beyond the border lies Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a rewarding day trip for anyone looking for a change of pace. Take a stroll through the historic town centers, hike through the Partnachklamm, or enjoy the view of Zugspitze from Lake Eibsee.
Eibsee
The crystal-clear mountain lake beneath Zugspitze invites you to swim, paddle and go boating; in winter, to snowshoe hiking.
Zugspitz Plateau
At an altitude of around 2,600 meters, you will experience glaciers and alpine landscapes, accessible via a cogwheel and glacier cable car.
Garmisch Partenkirchen
Two historic town centers with cafés and shops, plus the Partnachklamm as one of the most famous natural highlights of the area.
