Data protection

1. Data protection at a glance & responsible party

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations (GDPR, DSG) as well as this privacy policy. The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Where personal data (such as name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis. We point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can involve security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

The person responsible for data processing on this website is:
Hotel Hubertushof e.U. Kirchplatz 7,
6631 Lermoos
Tel. +43 5673 2161 Email: info@hotel-hubertushof.com

2. Legal basis for data processing

All processing of personal data on our website is carried out on a clear legal basis. The processing is based on the following in each case:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR: You have given us your explicit consent (e.g. when setting cookies or signing up for the newsletter).
  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures (e.g. in the case of room bookings or offers).
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR: Processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation (e.g., statutory retention periods).
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: Processing is carried out based on our legitimate interest, in particular to optimize and secure our web offering.

3. Cookies & Consent (Borlabs Cookie)

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that your browser stores on your device. They do not cause any damage and are intended to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure.
To manage your consent to the setting of cookies and the use of certain tools in a secure and data protection-compliant manner, we use the consent management tool „Borlabs Cookie“.

Technically necessary cookies are set based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) to ensure the basic functions of the website. All other cookies (e.g., for marketing or analytical purposes) are only loaded after your explicit consent via our Borlabs cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can adjust or revoke your settings there at any time.

4. Server data / log files

When you visit our website, the provider of the pages automatically collects technical information and stores it in so-called server log files. This data includes:

  • IP address of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request
  • The requested page or file
  • Used browser type and browser version
  • Used operating system
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

This data is not combined with other data sources. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring a flawless connection setup, system security, and statistical analysis for website optimization.

5. Contact form / Request form / Application form

If you contact us via a contact, inquiry, or application form, your details from the form, including the contact details you provide there (e.g., name, email address, phone number), will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. This also applies to sensitive data (e.g., CVs) that you voluntarily provide to us as part of an application. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in efficiently processing requests). We will not disclose this data to third parties without your explicit consent.

6. Newsletter

On our website, we offer you the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter. To do this, we require a valid email address and your confirmation that you agree to receiving it (double opt-in procedure). Any additional voluntary information serves solely to personalize the newsletter. The data processing is carried out solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Newsletter tracking: Our newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels to measure the success of our mailings. This allows us to evaluate whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This is purely for optimizing our content.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in the footer of each email or by directly contacting us at info@hotel-hubertushof.com send.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as your bookings, applications or inquiries to us, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from „http://“ http://„ to “https://“ https://” and the lock symbol in your browser bar. When encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

8. Google Ads

We use the advertising service Google Ads on our website from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The purpose is to target our offer. When you arrive at our website via a Google ad, a conversion cookie is stored on your device. This serves to measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaign. The use of Google Ads and the setting of corresponding cookies takes place exclusively with your prior consent through our consent tool (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data transfers to the USA may occur, which are protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, please see: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

9. Google Analytics

For the analysis and evaluation of user behavior, we use the web analytics service Google Analytics from Google Ireland Limited. This service uses cookies that enable an analysis of the use of our website (e.g., page views, duration of stay, origin). We have activated IP anonymization on this website, so that your IP address is truncated before transmission. The data processing takes place exclusively with your prior consent via the consent tool (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Any data transfers to the USA are legally protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

10. Google Tag Manager

To manage and integrate website tags, we use the Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited. This service does not itself set any cookies and does not collect any direct user data for profiling purposes. It merely serves as an organizational interface to trigger other tools (such as Google Analytics). However, for technical reasons, your IP address is transmitted to Google when loading the Tag Manager. This is done based on our legitimate interest in the smooth management of our website services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

11. Feratel Webcams

To provide you with current live images from our region, we use webcams from Feratel media technologies AG (Maria-Theresien-Straße 8, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria). When you visit a page with an integrated webcam, your browser establishes a direct connection to Feratel’s servers to load the video stream. This inevitably involves the transmission of technical data such as your IP address. The integration is based on our legitimate interest in presenting our region in an attractive and informative way (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For more details on privacy at Feratel, please see: https://www.feratel.com/datenschutz.html.

12. Interactive map of the Tyrol Zugspitz Arena

To optimize holiday planning and to provide a visual representation of our region, we integrate an interactive map of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena on our website (provided by maps.zugspitzarena.com).

To protect your data as best as possible, this card is blocked by default via our consent tool (Borlabs Cookie). Therefore, when you simply visit our website, no connection is first established with the provider’s servers and no data is transmitted.

Only when you actively agree to the card’s display (e.g., by clicking on the external media consent directly on the card placeholder or via our cookie settings), will the content be loaded. In doing so, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, which for purely technical reasons transmits your IP address to the provider.

The use of this interactive map and the associated data transmission therefore take place solely on the basis of your express consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future via our cookie settings.

Further information on the handling of your user data can be found in the privacy policy of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena at: https://zugspitzarena.com/de/Datenschutz

13. Vioma Clearing Station (Hotel Management System & Online Booking)

For the processing of direct online bookings (rooms, packages, vouchers), we use the booking system of vioma GmbH (Industriestraße 27, 77656 Offenburg, Germany). When you make a booking on our website, the data you enter (such as name, contact details, payment details, if applicable) is transmitted directly to the systems of vioma via an encrypted connection for contract processing (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). vioma GmbH acts as our reliable partner and processes your data strictly in accordance with legal requirements. Further details regarding data processing can be found here: https://www.vioma.de/de/service/datenschutzerklaerung/.

14. Your rights

Within the framework of the applicable legal regulations, you are entitled at any time to the following rights regarding your personal data:
